| 1st Time Ordering: Finding Items |

All items on the Tablebases.com website have been thoroughly organized and placed into specific categories. Using the tabs across the top of the site, select the one that best describes the item you are looking for. This will help you find a more detailed category listing for the items that you are interested in. When you find an item that interests you click the "detail" link to go to the detailed product page. Here you will find important information, such as the product specifications & features. If you already know the item number or specific name of the product, you can simply enter it into our Search box that is located on the left hand side of the screen. This will automatically direct you to that items detailed product page. If you know your top size and want to see all the bases that will work for that top size enter the tops shape and size in the "Base Finder" on the left hand side of the screen.

When you have found an item that you would like to purchase select a color choice, wood finish or fabric from the drop-down menu box, providing there is more than one color choice available. You may then proceed by clicking the "Add to Cart" button. This will take you to your shopping cart. To order more than one of the same item simply change the quantity that appears in the box just to the left of the item description. Proceed by clicking the "Update Total" button located at the top of your Shopping Cart. If you wish to continue shopping, just click the "Continue Shopping" button at the top of the cart. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the "Shopping Cart" icon at the top of every page of our Web site.
Before checking out, take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. Make sure that each item in your cart is the correct color and fabric choice that you would like, and that all quantities are correct. When you are ready to place your order, simply click the "Checkout" button located at the top of your cart. This will take you to the order form where you can finalize your order.

Warranty
Tablebases are warranted to the original purchaser for a period of 5 years from the date of delivery, under normal use, against manufacturing defects.
Tablebases.com will replace or repair warranted parts or material at its option. The warranty does not apply to damage resulting from shipment, storage, alteration, improper installation or misuse of the product and failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance.

SM will warrant its chairs against manufacturing defects for a period of five years from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. This covers normal use in a foodservice or hotel application. SM France/USA will replace the defective chair or base with a similar chair or base if the original is out of production. Chairs may be repairable and after the first year, SM may decide to repair or refinish rather than replace, at its option. Painted surfaces are warranted against peeling, cracking or blistering. Tubing is warranted against bursting. Normal and reasonable care and maintenance is expected.
What is not covered: Unreasonable use or abuse, neglect acts of nature (flood, lightning, trees falling for example) or color changes due to sun fading. Fabrics are not warranted as they are covered by their manufacturer. Freight is not covered after one year.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority. Contact a customer service specialist by either calling 1-800-258-2320 or e-mailing us at sales@tablebases.com to obtain Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Our Customer Service hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm PST. Upon authorization, you will receive instructions on where to send the return merchandise. Please return by a traceable carrier such as United States Postal Service registered mail, United Parcel Service, or Federal Express to the address provided when you received your Return Merchandise Authorization. All returns are at the sole descretion of the manufacturer.

FAQ
| What does standard height mean? |

Standard height is approximately 28 3/4" tall. We assume a 1 1/4" thick tabletop. This would bring the top of your table to a standard 30" from the floor.
| What height is Counter Top height? |

Counter Top height is approximately 34 3/4" tall. We assume a 1 1/4" thick tabletop which brings your tabletop to 36".
| What height is bar height? |

Bar height is approximately 40 3/4" tall. We assume a 1 1/4" thick tabletop which brings your tabletop to 42".
| Which bases can I get in a custom height? |

Any of our bases with a straight steel column can be ordered in "custom heights". We do not have bar height columns for most the decorative cast iron bases.
| Is there an additional charge to order a custom height? |

Yes, for bases less than standard height, add a $10.00 cutting charge per column. For bar height bases (40 3/4"), add $15.00 per column for black bases and $25.00 per column for chrome bases, for stainless steel add $70.00. For counter height bases (34 3/4") add $20.00 per column for both black and chrome.
| What is powder coating? |

Powder coating is a dry finishing process. Finely ground particles of pigment and resin are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the products to be coated.
The parts to be coated are electrically grounded, so that the charged particles adhere to them until melted and fused into a solid coating in a curing oven.
The result is an attractive, durable, high-quality finish.
| Which bases are best suited for granite or marble tops? |

Most of our bases can be used with granite or marble tops if sized properly (the larger the better.) It is usually recommended that a heavier base be used to reduce the risk of tipping.
| What does the top of the base look like? The pictures on the website only show the column and base plate. |

To see an illustration of the spider click on the assembly instructions. We don't show the spiders because they are all alike and no one sees the spider once the base is attached to the tabletop.
| What will be my shipping costs |

If the items you order can be shipped via UPS the website will calculate the UPS charges at checkout. If there are too many items or the item is too large to be shipped via UPS they will be shipped by truck on a LTL (less than truckload) carrier. We will contact you with the shipping costs once the order is submitted but before it is shipped. We make every effort to ship via least expensive method.
